The True Honey co

After a successful period of producing high-quality Manuka honey for the wholesale market, The True Honey Co recognised the opportunity to develop their consumer-facing brand and launch into the B2C market. The True Honey Co was focused on communicating its unique brand story through an eCommerce-only direct-to-consumer model and looked to Touchcast as a partner to make this happen.

An in-depth Discovery phase produced vast competitor research analysis, primary and secondary audiences alongside detailed user personas.

Through iterative wireframing and visual design, an HTML prototype was developed and user journeys validated through user testing.

This was further brought to life through working responsive brand styles and pattern libraries, integrated into a Wordpress WooCommerce backend. 

An MVP, full responsive eCommerce platform launched to the NZ market mid 2016. The solution was built with scalability in mind and has since launched in the UK and AUS. 

Working with Marx design who did The True Honey Co's brand and packaging I directed the design which balanced a highly crafted visual language with the more functional pattern library assets creating a consistent user experience throughout the site.
